Auschwitz Birkenau concentration and extermination camp is currently the alone past Nazi prison enclosed to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1979. The camp is set in the Oświęcim town about 2 hours from the City of Krakow.
It is separated into 2 camps: Auschwitz I and Auschwitz-Birkenau II. They both produce the real testimony of the malice of Nazi policy as well as unthinkable pain of approximately one million murdered people. Great number of them were Jews. They were unscrupously killed in gas chamber.
Other ways of deaths involved starvation, physical exertion and also medical attempts that the imprisoned were treated had to deal with.
